These Terms of Service govern the use of Azzamo services, including relays, media hosting, and public APIs.
By accessing or using Azzamo services, you agree to these terms.
Scope¶
These terms apply to all Azzamo-operated services, including:
- Nostr relays
- Azzamo Blossom media services
- Public APIs
- Related infrastructure
Different services may have additional rules documented separately.
Eligibility¶
Azzamo services are open to anyone capable of using Nostr-compatible software.
- No registration is required
- No personal identification is required
- Users are responsible for securing their own keys
You are responsible for all activity associated with your public key.
Acceptable use¶
You agree not to use Azzamo services to:
- Engage in automated abuse or flooding
- Distribute malware or scams
- Attempt to disrupt infrastructure
- Circumvent access controls
- Exploit vulnerabilities
Use of the services must comply with applicable laws.
Content responsibility¶
You are responsible for content you publish or upload.
- Azzamo does not pre-screen content
- Azzamo is not responsible for user-generated content
- Illegal content may be removed when required
Content published on Nostr may be replicated on other relays beyond Azzamo’s control.
Premium services¶
Some services require payment for access.
- Premium access is time-based
- Payments are final and non-refundable
- Expired access reverts to free-tier behavior

Service availability¶
Services are provided on a best-effort basis.
- No guaranteed uptime
- Maintenance may cause interruptions
- Features may change over time

Moderation and enforcement¶
Azzamo may apply limits or restrictions to protect infrastructure.
This may include:
- Rate limiting
- Temporary or permanent bans
- Content filtering
Enforcement is based on behavior and operational impact, not beliefs.
Termination of access¶
Azzamo may restrict or terminate access if:
- These terms are violated
- Abuse threatens service stability
- Legal obligations require action
Where feasible, restrictions are proportional and reversible.
Intellectual property¶
Azzamo retains rights to its software, branding, and documentation.
Users retain rights to their own content, subject to protocol replication and distribution.
Limitation of liability¶
Azzamo is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Azzamo is not liable for indirect damages
- Azzamo is not liable for data loss
- Azzamo is not liable for third-party actions
Use of the services is at your own risk.
Indemnification¶
You agree to indemnify Azzamo against claims arising from:
- Your misuse of the services
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of applicable laws
Changes to terms¶
These terms may be updated over time.

- Continued use implies acceptance

These terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Azzamo operates, unless otherwise required.
